So ... I have an almost unused Supernova NEX750B1 power supply that I bought in 2016 and used for a couple of months before putting my PC away and switching to PS4 for awhile.

I just built a "new" gaming PC out of spare parts (i7 3770, Asus PB Z77 V LX, and MSI Gaming 1070 GTX Ti) to get back into PC gaming.

I am currently running a LEPA 850 power supply from 2012 in it.

I ordered some replacement cables from EVGA and realized the NEX750B1 is going to have to use two cables to power the GPU ... not a single 8-pin to two 8-pin cable like the LEPA has.

Is it worth it to swap the EVGA power supply into it? Seems like it should be better quality than the LEPA, which is Enermax's budget line.

Thanks!
John

Thanks. I guess I will use the nonmodular VGA power connector and one of the modular ones. I wish it could support two plugs off one cable, but that's not an option.
