Hi guys
 
Evga NU mic in port does not work, i mean ı got it started by bringing up the windows native sound properties window.I right click on the speaker icon in windows taskbar and click on "Sounds" in order to bring up the sound properties panel and the microphone starts working.And i have to windows sound properties screen open in order to use the microphone.Once i closed that panel, mic stops working.

What could cause that?

Make sure you look up what the mic response freq is and make sure the NU Audio matches that.. Then the mic will work.. 

First of all thank you very uch for your reply.I have only those frequencies available for my microphone as below


 
and even i configure the frequencies the same i could not able to get it work unless i open the windows sound settings.I could only make it work by checking the box "listen to this device" and for the device i have checked the SPIDF out as i am not using it.If i choose the default device i start hearing very annoying hissing sound coming from my speakers.This is the setting i have configured and make thw mic work again without leaving the windows sound settings windows open


 


But what does that listen to this device do?why i have to enable it? it was working fine up until now.I do not know what happened.

What version of windows are you using?

version 1809 and also it happened in version 1903.I reformatted my pc and back to 1809 but still happenning.

I do not have this checked as shown below.

I had to check the checkbox in order to get it work.set it up as a desktop mic by the way.

Was this issue ever officially resolved?
I am currently experiencing this exact issue starting today
Previously have been using 32bit 192000 since I purchased it
 
update: temporarily fixable by setting sample rate <= 96000, then enabling/disabling microphone in windows sound settings. But once you change the sample rate to anything above 24/32bit, 96000 the issue returns.
I have fully uninstalled from device manager and reinstalled using 1.0.3, restarting pc between and afterwards, same issue after software/driver reinstallation
