Hi,
as said here: forums.evga.com/EVGA-Precision-X1-Causing-Stuttering-m2932159-p2.aspx#2950008
I am having a lot of trouble with X1, and its basically unuseable for me. I especially need to make use of the custom fan curve, but cannot. Now even though I am not a fan (no pun intended) of the BIOS fan curve, I could live with it for now, If I could somehow have the Fans not go to 0 RPM on idle. Because this inevitably leads to the fans continuously turning on and off all the time during idle. This is driving me nuts, I would rather have them sitting at 30% all the time and keep the GPU at 40°C idle instead of revving up every few seconds when it hits 50-something °C.

I read the OC Bios is supposed to disable zero RPM mode, but it does not for me. The fans turn off on both BIOS versions. Is there anything I can do?

Power off the PC, pull the plug to the wall, wait couple min for capacitors to discharge - restart your PC

New BIOS should function on your card

Another option:  Set a fixed RPM (say 60%) and exit X1 - just watch your temps

Adjust hysteresis to help stop fan speed hunting - the stock setting of Zero allows it to change quickly Up/Down RPM, set it to 5

Yeah once you change the bios you'll need to also uninstall px1 and reboot and reinstall px1 for it to notice the difference.. that's for px1 though.

Yes do the above what cool gtx mentioned and it should fix it for ya.
