Hi All. Apologize if this is in the wrong area, but I'm new to this forum and figured this would be the place to ask. I've got a gt1030 low profile HDMI only card installed in an HP Compaq Elite 8300. If I reboot, the message "press f11 to start Acronis" comes up, I'll press it, then it will start Acronis and all looks good. Then, as I navigate to the backup location (15 to 30 seconds later), the screen goes black and the "no signal" message from the monitor comes up. Same issue if I boot from USB into Windows 10 installer. I can see the Windows 10 logo for about 10 - 20 seconds, then the screen goes black and the monitor again reports no signal. Any help knowing how to troubleshoot this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you test the card in a different system does the problem follow the card?

Thanks for the reply Sajin. I don't have another computer to test the card in. This is the first card I've used that only has HDMI slots, so I wasn't sure if this was a common occurrence with cards that only have HDMI outputs. Is this unheard of as far as you know? Thanks again for the reply.

Since you don't have another system to test the card in you could try the following...

#1 Try a different display cable.
    #2 Try a different monitor.
#3 Make sure your motherboard bios is current.
#4 Try a different video card.
#5 Take the card to a local pc shop for testing.

Glad to know it's definitely an issue. I swapped out the HDMI cable with a new one, same issue. With the new cable in place, I booted into Acronis, and again... 30 - 40 seconds of navigating folders the screen went black and the monitor reported no signal. I tried the other HDMI port, and in that case, I get nothing. I also opened the case and made sure the card was securely in place. Same result.
