Hello all,
I all of a sudden having video card crashing when Playing any games. My system Is new only a month old. Windows 10 Pro Event Viewer is telling me its Nvlddmkm event 13 crashing my video card. I tried everything on the internet except for a few things I will have to research more on. I will listed below what I have and have not done. Just know one thing Its a New system and I haven't as yet overclocked anything, and that the Graphic card only crashes in Games not at desktop at all.
System:
Cpu i7-8700k
MB Evga z390 Ftw
Gpu Evga Rtx 2070
Corsair Memory CMD16GX4M2B3200C16
PSU Evga SuperNova 1300G2
Os Windows 10 Pro
What I have Done:
1) read everything I could about Nvlddmkm event 13, seems I'm not alone with this problem popping up. But haven't found any solution on the net to fix my problem.
2) removed some imbedded software that came with Windows 10, Xbox live ect… that was suggested by internet post I read.
3) Updated My video drivers to 419.67, first driver was 419.35 had same problem GPU crashing in games, So updated.
4) checked windows update , All up to dated.
5) ran Memory Check from Command Prompt, Check Disk, all passed.
6) ran memory Check from Bios, Passed.
7) Stressed test GPU with FurMark software for over a Hour, card had no issues at all.
8) made sure the PCie is set to 3.0 in bois
9) turn Ansel off
What I haven't done:
1) haven't underclock the Gpu, to see if the gpu running out of control.
2) haven't replaced PSU. to see if PSU is bad and not giving enough power when needed.
3) haven't gave the PCie addition power , only running one card. Was told I didn't need to with One Gpu.
4) haven't rolled back graphic driver because it was doing it with 419.35 and that was the only driver every installed when first putting system together.
5) Haven't changed TDR timing, Heard/read didn't help anyone who did.
So there you have the basic's of what I done and what I haven't done. Please if you got any info that might help me out with this problem, I would be greatful. I will reply with more info if need, but it might be slow forth coming as I'm working Longs days right now.
