Recently my EVGA Supernova 1000P had a failure. EVGA did warranty it and replaced it but sadly not with an exact replacement. The replacement was an EVGA Supernova 1200P2 (which dosent fit in my case hence the "sadly" remark) which is obviously a new model. My question is would the cables be compatible between the two? My case is very high tolerance with everything perfectly laid out and well managed and I would like to avoid having to redo cable management. I have seen a few threads about this subject but not specifically my two PSU's and I would rather be absolutely sure before trying since my computer has been down for 2 and a half months. My PSU, CPU, and MOBO all failed at the same time and I would like to avoid any other RMA related anything.

I would change the cables personally. In this case it's not a matter of compatibility but to say that you had a power supply fail and had to replace the CPU and Motherboard I would figure any cable that connected the failed parts should be replaced for peace of mind. I am only guessing but I would say the PSU was part of the other failures which would mean these cables probably handled a charge of electricity they are not intended to handle.
