I've searched a ton for this specific issue but haven't found anything, so I apologize if I missed something related to it.

Like many, I have had the clicking fans on startup, but it wasn't an issue until the other day, when they would click constantly even after they started moving. I adjusted the curve until it stopped (55%), which is a higher speed than it runs even when playing games.

My normal temp for games, specifically Total War Warhammer 2is in the low 40s (celcius), but after this fan curve was set, it started running in the low 60s. I can't for the life of me figure out why. I'm thinking of RMAing it if the clicking gets worse, but the temperature weirdness is more worrying.

Did anyone else have this issue?

TLDR: card running hotter at higher resting fan speeds than on default curve at lower speeds.
