Looks nice with acrylic. Did you switch out the right side panel too? I bet it's easier to move that case around now. I never understood the point of putting painted/tinted tempered glass, that you can't see through on a case. The whole point of using glass, is to allow you to see through it. I can't wait for the industry to get over the tempered glass craze.

That looks pretty cool. I am tempted to do something like that for the front panel of mine

No, I left the right panel as is. It is definitely lighter now!

Which ways have you tried the air flow on the fans ? With a one GPU card GTX 1080 Ti ( 3 fans card) - I have the top fans blowing down and the front CPU cooling going out. and the back fan also going out EVGA power supply is normal in from the bottom and out the back With glass on 3 sides I have to wait a bit longer to see max temp build up

The problem with doing that way, DG-7* doesn't have a dust filter at the top.

haha - yes I have 5 cats - some long hair- so most all of my systems have some kind of a filter mod and a few have a raised roof to keep cat toys from being thrown into the fans. some times just leaving the can of compressed air on top of a computer will keep cats from sitting on a computer case.

I have the push/pull intake on the front and exhaust out the back and top.

This makes me wish they did just a clear glass version. I went black after reading the front of the white case was painted. Why paint the glass? I mean I can understand for the side to keep from seeing cables but the front seemed like a bad spot to paint. Of course that is just me some might like the clean white look and if your going white you want the color to stand out.

I like the OP clear plastic over the other one posted. The DG-7 case has more than enough tacky branding all over it. Hoggle This makes me wish they did just a clear glass version. The front panel and right side panel of the DG-77 Alpine white version is painted. You can't see the RGB logo at all behind the painted glass, like you can on the black version. The black (DG-77) version has tinted glass. EVGA dropped the ball on the DG-7* Series design. - Front panel restrict air-flow, around 10º lower temps with it off
- Vertical GPU to close to side window causing higher GPU temps
- The worst PSU dust filter i have seen on a "premium" case (it's so bad, evga made sure not to show images of it)
I get a laugh every time i read this forums section description "Designed to not make compromises".

The problem is that without the small air intakes, the temperature of the HotSpot GPU rises above 110 degrees and the board starts to lower the clock. The dream is the clear panel, but unfortunately it is not functional in my situation.
