ok I first tried to research the hell out of this but no luck.

I have a 9900K that's going to sit under a EK supreme evo block that I took from my old setup.  My question is whats the best setup for this block?  I currently have a I1 insert with a J2 jet plate.  This is an old block so that setup was good for the 4770k and 6700k back in the day according to EK.  The problem is the new 115X chips are 8 cores and pack a lot more power and have a completely different layout.  So is that still the best setup for this block on the new 1151 9900k? or should I treat it as a 2011 V-3 and run the I2 J3 plates?  I also have 1/2 tubing and no GPU in the system with a single EK PE 360 and a D5 pump, if that matters which I don't think it does when coming to jet plates.  It seems the CPU core layout has more of impact on the jetplate setup to be used, that's why I become even more curious with the current 115X flagships packing 8 cores.  I just want to take my time and setup the loop to perform the best before putting coolant in there.  I've learned my lessons years ago with rushing a complex and powerful setup.  Thanks for your help and input.

I think that was the same configuration for my 7940x. I also had to email them as their instructions need a revision and did not cover the newer chips (for that time frame)
