AOC are pretty good, they honor there warrantys which are three years on monitors and they are the third biggest panel manufacturer. They've been around for along time. Don't go HP, they only give you one year on warrantys for monitors! AOC is also one of the few listed in the dozen monitors, out of 400, that Nvidia tested that were compatible for gsync/freesync too: https://www.engadget.com/2019/01/07/nvidia-freesync-g-sync-certification/

The AOC monitor linked above has the same VA panel in my Samsung C32HG70 which I absolutely love. I think the AOC version stand is probably better because the samsung stand is just way to large. Samsung does factory calibrate the C32HG70 whearas I'm not sure if you'll get that from AOC, but at $535 I think it's a good deal. I purchased mine on sale for $550 but it's not always available at that price. If you can find the Samsung model for around the same price and you aren't going to use the included mount I would go for the samsung model.

    Good luck with your purchase!

I was able to find the ICC profile within a driver zip file downloaded from AOC's support page for my monitor.

Damn, when I saw this sentence I thought I wrote it, lol!!  As far as Vesa mounting I don't care as much though cause ill mod my way into a undamaging mount with angle iron or something else. I used to hang garage door openers for Sears,Loews,Home Depot etc... so I have tons of that crap.
