Well, this driver's fixed the CTD's and BSOD's with Sniper Elite 4, sadly FFXV gray screen crashes still, and Firestrike randomly fails more often than not.

I had a problem with the monitors failing to initialize (or taking a while) and this new driver as best I can tell seems to have solved it.

Wonder if this hotfix also fixes the broken Dolby Atmos for HT option? Previous drivers it worked fine for me, after the latest 417 driver before the hotfix it was suddenly broke and errors out when I try to enable it.

I noticed stuttering too with 417.35 in Destiny 2 using my EVGA 2080 TI with the highest settings.  I would see the stuttering when the Task Manager would show the GPU hitting 95% and above.  I had to turn off Depth of Field, and a few other settings from Highest to High.  Once the Task Manager would show the GPU in between 80-90% ranges, the stuttering would not occur.

Just tested Destiny 2 with HF Driver 417.58 after un-installing the 417.35 with DDU in Safe Mode. The stuttering in Destiny 2 is still occurring when the graphics settings are set to highest and the GPU is fluctuating in Task Manager between 95-99%.  Setting the Texture and Shadow Quality to High, and turning off Depth of Field will result in the GPU not hitting that 95% in Task Manager, and the stutter is gone.

Looks more and more like we need a Game Patch for Destiny 2 for the RTX Graphics Cards.

Didn't see any mention of a GRW screen freeze fix listed when accessing the weapons load out. Will give this new driver test run. FWIW I've been following the GRW forum and the problem was forwarded to the game dev's but no further updates on progress if any. Also no mention of whether Ubisoft and Nvidia have been communicating. One post suggestion was to set UPlay to offline mode for solo players before starting the game. I've not had a CTD when accessing the weapons load out so far since... roughly 5 to 8 hours session total.

Didn't get more than a half hour into GRW and got the screen freeze/CTD with 417.71.

Will go back to starting Uplay in offline mode then starting the game from Uplay instead of Steam. As I said I played 5 to 8 hours w/o the crash this way.......

I have not gone to the new Driver yet but did find that reducing my CPU OC from 4900 MHz to 4800 MHz fixed a lot off issues for me.

I'm running at the stock I7-8700K 3.7 GHz speed and still got/get the freeze/CTD. It's a random thing with the crash within minutes to more than a couple of hours or longer. Just when I've thought the freeze problem was fixed with some change made - driver, graphics setting, CPU overclock back to stock, whatever - it happens. It's way beyond my pay grade to understand why it's only occurring with all flavors of RTX cards....and apparently the GRW dev's given how long Ubisoft keeps posting the problem was referred to the game dev's with no results.

Just curious if you have have tried the newer drivers (newer than the ones in post 1 in this thread)?

I get a Black Screen Uninstalling the older 417.17 Drivers just have to press the Enter Key to restart and move on.

Yup - with 417.71. Even reverted to the initial RTX driver. The freeze and then CTD occurs only when accessing the weapons load out in the game. The instant it displays it freezes and then a few seconds later the CTD, with a "Oh, Oh, the game crashed and will be reported" popup. Every time. Something with the RTX cards and that particular function. That's what's baffling to all ...
