I don't think it's been covered so I'll throw this out there for those that don't know.
As you're aware, there's no Min/Max alarm/limit settings in Precision XOC (Default skin)..There's only the 'Play alarm sound when value is out of range' button in the Monitoring tab of the Settings that you can turn on.
Okay, fine..So what's the 'range' and how can it be changed, one might wonder?
Open the Interface tab in the Settings..Change 'Select Skin' from Default to Kingpin and click OK..Precision XOC will then close and re-open with the Kingpin skin.
Click 'OSD Settings' in the Kingpin skin..Then in 'Select GPU Statistic', select the statistic from the dropdown that you want to change the Min/Max alarm values/limits for.
Let's select GPU Temperature..As you can see the Maximum Value is 100C (at least for me) before the alarm (if turned on) will sound..That's too hot for me, I want the alarm to go off at 90C and be alerted if there's a cooling problem well before my GPU might get hot enough to boil water.
Enable 'Show in monitor' for the GPU if it is not already..Double-click on the Maximum (and/or Minimum) Value for the statistic and type in the number you want..Then turn on the 'Play alarm sound when value is out of range' button..Then close the OSD Settings..Then close Precision XOC..Then open Precision XOC and revert back to the Default skin.
Do the same with any other statistic, like CPU Temperature..Only make changes to one statistic at a time and close the OSD Settings before making changes to another statistic, otherwise, only the last statistic changed will remain and previous changes to other statistics will be lost (bug).
Then turn on the 'Play alarm sound when value is out of range' button in the Monitoring tab of the Settings in the Default skin if it is not already, click OK, then close and open Precision XOC again.
That's it..The values you enter in the OSD Settings of the Kingpin skin should now carry over and apply in the Default skin and the Min/Max values (that's the 'range') will be reflected in HWM (HardWare Monitor).
You can test the alarm function by setting the Maximum Value to a low temperature that you know you will hit, then run a GPU stress test or the Render Test in GPU-Z to reach your alarm temperature..Or, manually lock your fan/s to a low speed and hit your high temperature limit just for testing purposes.
The reason for closing and opening Precision XOC again is that there's an ongoing bug to where most all changes won't get saved unless Precision XOC is closed after making them.
Be mindful of what else you change in the Kingpin skin because other things can carry over into the Default skin.
