Hey guys, does anyone happen to own a Thermaltake Toughpower Grand DPS G RGB Titanium PS-TPG-1500DPCTUS-T PSU? The reason why I'm asking is because I am replacing the ugly vomit red, yellow and black stock cables with all black sleeved cables from a company called modDIY.com The technician whom is making my cables needs the following information from me.

modDIY.COM requested the following.

Sorry, please kindly indicate how wires are connected end to end by adding numbers in your photo. So that we know how to build this cable for your particular model. The technician is referring to the

Example of another PSU diagram

Example of another diagram pin layout.

From what I can see. The power supply is using the new 16+14 pin power modular port. I can't understand modDIY's request with all the boxes and numbers. They want me to draw a diagram of both ends of the main power supply cable. Here's some pictures of both cable ends.
Can anyone please assist me with drawling up a diagram to send off to the technician? They are needing this information. If it's not done correctly it can screw up my motherboard and other components. I know it's an odd request. I think this is the best place to ask. The EVGA gurus know their stuff when it comes to computer hardware components and such.

You just need to map out where the terminals of the 24-pin motherboard connector go on the 14-pin and 16-pin connectors at the PSU..Simple enough.

You should do it as you are looking into the ends of the connectors on the cable and tell them that's the way you did it (which is the way it's done anyway)..Or make a drawing with lines like in the attachment below.

In the attachment below, you can see they're not 1:1..For example, terminal 1 on the motherboard end of the cable goes to terminal 4 on the PSU end of the cable, and other wires get crossed too.

Update: My Thermaltake Toughpower Grand DPS G RGB Titanium PS-TPG-1500DPCTUS-T Is Not Working Correctly. Cable Config Setup Wrong? The screen is all black. I am wondering if I configured the cables correctly. My concern in question is, do I also have to run both the ATX 16-Pin and the 14-Pin leads to the PSU at the same time? The other end of the PSU has the 24-Pin lead that is connected to the motherboard. I reinstalled my old PSU and no problem. What could I be doing wrong here? Or is it a defective PSU from Thermaltake?

I can share my own personal experience with everyone. The cable configuration is correct, and it works flawlessly. I hated the original color scheme of the cables. McDonald's mustard & ketchup puke! I had the team at MODDIY custom make me sets of black & blue Thermaltake cables for this specific power supply. The quality is premium all the way. Now I have the best quality cables and the right aesthetics to match. MODDIY has most of the leading major manufacturer's PSU terminal layouts at this point. They even added black comb covers to my cable sets. I highly recommend them for just about everything related to custom cables. I will post some pictures, once I have reconfigured my PSU cables perfectly.
