But ive did everything short of testing the PSU somehow I have an intel 6850K usually running a mild OC of 4.0 as of the last few months my machine has become more and more unstable in game. specifically BO4 Ive tried stock clocks, more volts, stock jdec ram timings, etc etc. On the GPU ive taken off any boost from the Precision OC for the 1080TI, ive added voltage, lowered voltage, kept the fans at 100 and so forth. So it used to be i could play 30 mins, an hour, some time hours and would have a random power down and reboot. Currently it happens about 2 mins into a game. and its every time. Im not seeing high temps on CPU or GPU certainly nothing above the 60s range. There is no error or BSOD, It just blacks out the entire machine and then reboots. A friend suggested that the PSU would be something to look at. But if Im in bios or on desktop it looks ok. What changes in game, other than VRAM usage and CPU perhaps pulling more power? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Further specs in my signature and modrigs profile. It has to do with the power the GPU is pulling or the GPU itself. Is there a way to check the sensors, or fan speeds in the PSU? using software?
