Hello there,

I was wondering what PCB design was used for the 1080 FTW Hybrid? I was looking to swap out the aio for a waterblock so I'd like to know which waterblock would be compatible.

EK says that the FTW waterblock would be compatible from their compatability checker, but I'm just double checking for other companies (e.g. bykski/phanteks/watercool)

Thanks!

Yup seems like it, I guess that confirms that it uses the FTW PCB when buying a waterblock - saw somewhere that it uses the reference so I got a bit confused...

Thank you!

NO, your card does not seem to be a reference card - Or at least it is a different EK part number - your card would need the 3831109831755

Reference design PCB  would be like the EVGA 1080 FE

I'll just checked the extra - EVGA 1080 FE - EK water block that is sitting on my shelf - EK-FC1080 GTX  --->EK part number 3831109 831298

This would be misinformation. The FTW cards are a custom PCB that are roughly an inch taller and have additional power phases. You would need to look for waterblock specifically designed for the PCB itself.

Thanks all, it seemed like the hybrid 6188 uses the reference design and the 6288 uses the ftw design.... that's probably where most of the confusion and mix up came from
