Hey guys I recently installed a 1080ti ftw3 hybrid into my system and installed the latest driver .81. Since installing it less than 2 weeks ago I have started getting intermittent turning off and back on of the card; registering as a “driver crash” in windows 7, as soft locking or as hard crashing the whole system. My maximus x board registers the q code b2 during these failures and all of the lights go off on the card. Given as I have the latest drivers and every other part of my system has been functioning for 10 months prior to this cards insfallation, does anyone have any recommendations as to what I should do to troubleshoot?

System is;
8700k 5ghz water cooled
Maximus x code
16 gb ram
Windows 7 64 bit
1080p monitor
1080ti ftw3 hybrid

Thanks

I should also note that it Doesn’t appear to be a temperature issue as it crashes at ~35 degrees on precision xoc

    What psu are you using? Is your psu also 10 months old?

    I would recommend you Check your 12V rail. If your 12v rail is fluctuating, this may be indicative of the PSU being the source of your issue.

    Suggestions...

    #1 Put all hardware back to default clocks. Retest for the issue. If the issue persists...
    #2 Try a new psu. Retest for the issue. If the issue persists...
    #3 Try the video card in another known good working system.

    12v rails seems to be consistent at 12.192v in bios and in HW64 during use.

    Gpu is running at default clocks during this problem. A new psu is on the way will update after checking.
