Step up pricing questions

I'm sure this has been asked before but I just want to clarify. I am building a new PC and I want a 2080ti but can't find one. If I buy a 1080ti from B&H new for $850 today I can then step up to 2080ti for about $300 within the 90 days? Obviously I would follow the steps like registration and getting in the queue for a step up and selecting the 2080ti.

    Awesome thanks for the quick reply. Looking forward to my EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 ELITE and ultimately a 2080 ti when the time comes! The step up program is awesome!

    Just to be clear, any shipping or taxes on that 1080ti purchase will be deducted if part of that "$850" purchase price
     
    Additionally any EVGA rebates would also be deducted ....   Just what you pay for the card from an Authorized dealer (Not third party sales)

    It's also worth pointing out that if a bundle is offered with the video card it will reduce the Step Up value. Some people have got deals for like a free power supply with the video card so it's worth keeping in mind that the Step Up figures in any included items as the video card being on sale rather then the item included being free.
