It was £715 when I got it so there may be better options now.

In terms of OC temps, with my fan curve it gets to around 73c MAX (benchmarks) and it's pretty much silent. Since the 20 series seems locked down in terms of adding voltage, I'm not too sure if an expensive 3 fan card with a massive heat sink is worth it for the added price, unless you plan on fighting gpu boost 4.0 as much as you can which is kinda annoying.

Never benchmarked with 3DMark before, it's a decent program and a lot of fun.

Got my memory clock to +1000mhz and my GPU clock to +145mhz, if I went to 150 it crashed every time, this is all with power to max, and with the side of my case off with a fan blowing on it and the windows open on a cold day haha.

Wish I could have got the core clock higher, as some reviewers got to 180+ but I guess their cards were hand picked.

Tested a slightly lower overclock (120 core, 115% power, 800 memory) and it gave me about 9 FPS more in rise of the tomb raider benchmark, which is not to be sniffed at.

Hi,
Nice graphic's score very nice
You don't even look like your cpu clock is default it should turbo to 4.7 and yours is only at 4.4
Your system memory is also very low 2142
The 8700k usually hits in the 9-10k mark on cpu score
Your cpu score is lower than my 5930k at 7600+ verses yours at 7042.
Another 2k for cpu will get you probably 500 points higher over all.

My first build,
Case 450D/ ASUS Sabertooth X99/ 5930k with EK mono block / Water loop EK 280p-GTX240 radiators with D5 pump res combo before rads and D5 top after / Trident-Z 3200C14 4x8gb/ EVGA 1000 P2/ EVGA 1080ti FTW3 with EK copper water block.

2nd build,
Case D450/ ASUS x299 Prime Deluxe/ i9-7900x delidded with EK mono block/ Trident-Z 3600C16 4x8gb/ Water loop EK-280p-GTX240 radiators with D5 pump-res combo before rads and D5 top after/ EVGA 1200 P2 / Titan Xp with EK water block.

Ah yeah thanks for the pointers man, I got this cpu earlier this year and never got around to any benchmarking and overclocking. My RAM is faster but if I enable the XMP profile it slows my PC boot time by about 30 seconds (Up from about 8 seconds), weird huh? I cant find any info online which has let me fix that apart from some people saying don't use XMP, manually enable all the speed increases. I will definitely try all of this soon. Maybe I haven't got the CPU boost enabled in my bios? I just built this PC from new and got so wound up with the RAM issues taking forever I didn't fiddle with much else.

Hi,
Post a image of cpuid readings on the Memory and SPD section it will show your timings...
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

Yes usually manual settings work better than xmp
You can monitor all the voltages... with hwinfo free
https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php

Yeah just go to bios and optimize defaults and see if that works

An easy oc is just leave core voltage on auto and switch to All core and enter 47
Min cache auto, max cache 45
