Which HB SLI bridge do I need please?

Last time I SLIed was with my GTX 680FTW and I am gonna SLI my EVGA GTX 1080Ti FTW3 and currently have the Asus Maximus Formula VIII and based on where the two PCIE slots are I want to be correct it is more than two spaces looks like so I will need the Nvidia 3 slot SLI HB bridge correct? Or the 2 slot? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    PCI-SIG specifications dictate a 20mm (20.32mm to be exact) distance between slots..Each 20mm is counted as as slot space whether there's actually a slot there or not..If one remembers that, it's easy to determine how long of a bridge (in milimeters) one needs.

    From your top PCIEX16/X8_1 slot there's 20mm to the next slot space (which is empty), then 20mm from the empty slot space to your next slot (PCIEX1_2), then 20mm from PCIEX1_2..20 + 20 + 20 = 60..So there is a 60mm distance between the first and second PCIe x16 slots on your motherboard and you need a bridge with a 60mm distance between the connectors which would be an EVGA 100-2W-0026-LR bridge.

    That EVGA SLI Bridge is an End of Life Product..If you go for another brand of bridge, just remember the distance in millimeters is what's important because 'slot spacing' can be worded differently between manufacturers and you could end up getting the wrong one..So be sure you get a bridge with 60mm between the connector/s..Yes, an NVIDIA 3-Slot (60.96 mm) bridge would be the correct one.
