He is beautiful!!! I love Aussies!
My biggest thing to break my “youngest” was discipline when bad and reward when good. I use praise as the reward and lots of backscratches. It works. He knows when he was been bad if I just say No and then ignore him.
After about 5 months old, the accidents in the house stopped, and we are at 10 months now.

It’s important to make sure the puppy leaves you are in charge and that when on a leash it’s serious time not play time.

Hey Knight, after deciding it was time for a dog again after losing our last one, last November. I have gotten him a new harness, to replace his hand me down pink one. I would suggest getting what is called a front range harness. They mostly have two leash attach points one in chest and one on back. Not all of them have both. Anyway, this thing works well. By hooking to chest, the dog can't pull as much. The correction pulls them around to you, since it is in front. Your pup is gorgeous, beautiful markings!! Just be consistent with potty training, you will get there. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00164ZWBG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Cheap, but decent. I like the seat belt tether that comes with it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MY7R7ZG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Much more padding. Once you get them trained to walk nice, you won't need the front attach point.

We just changed harnesses, he just out grew his first harness. As far as me and the wife being on the same page, thats taking effort on my part explaining why and how i train the dog, he needs more structure right now, she thinks hes just a puppy... Diff do better at doing his feeding times, followed by potty breaks. I was working two job, when i was switching jobs, im sure that threw off the puppy's normal day and more walks, playtime, and now hes had his shots, i can start hiking with him. His name is Archer .

I would say on that, that you both have to be consistent in your method. Correct him and then put him outside. He will figure it out, very smart breed!

Consistent +1 Is someone ignoring the signs that puppy needs to go for a walk ? Cant just feed them and then ignore them ..... Walk him until after the "work" is done --- you should have some idea of Archer's needs 5 min - 30 min after the meal time to walk Same place every time ? (cover the odor with pet odor spray) What does Archer "do" to indicate he needs to go outside for relief ?

Consistency is key. Taking outside every 45 minutes. Then when there is an accident letting the dog know it is NOT acceptable. House training should take no more than 2-3 weeks. Dogs are smart, want to know their place and want to make the Alpha (YOU) happy.
The dog may know you are the Alpha but is trying to pull rank with Mommy.

Hes been doing really well. But with me and the new job and odd hours "3 nights and two days" the wife got mad at him, just seems to be sensitive to change and mommy getting mad at him.
