Hello, how difficult is it to clean under the keys? Can the keys be popped off and snapped back in similar to a regular keyboard? I'm a bit of a clean freak and I'd love to be able to vacuum under them one in a while.

stop eating at your work station

Power off - NOT hibernate if you have a spinning HD , hold laptop up, turn over light shake, turn over and a gentle vacuum should clean the KB area

On an SC17 or SC15, I would recommend against removing the keys. They plastic clasps and tabs were meant for a strong installation but will break if removed multiple times (or if you are unlucky, the first time). This is the case with most laptop keyboards. I have used compressed air on laptop keyboards for years, it will easily push out anything that is not sticky.

Just try to clean them, and around them. Like said above, don't try to get under them. It's not like their keyboard, where there is a key removal tool.

Maybe blow it off once a week or month to avoid any buildup.I never liked the cold can air on warm electronics,I use a dry air compressor.

Thanks for all the advice, I have a cat and a dog who both shed quite a bit, as well as issues with psoriasis which causes a lot of skin flakes to fall onto the keyboard :(
