Are you able to run the 970 Pro drives in Raid 0?

No, I have never tried. I have assigned each drive. I would assume Raid 0 would be even better overall performance?

With the speed of the 970 Pro drive plugged into the M.2 port going through the DMI to the CPU, I'm not sure how much of a speed increase you would see. However if you put the 970 Pro sticks on PICe cards and plug them into actual PCIe ports and go directly to the CPU, there would be a nice speed gain in Raid 0. I think you need one of the Intel VROC hardware key to do this.

Hum, the VROC may only work with with Intel NVMe drives, not sure? Here is a video of someone setting it up on a MSI X299 motherboard.

Interesting. I wonder if I have the space with using 1080 Ti SLI. It also looks like I would need several other hardware components.
