Hi well I finished my build but have a question on the video card install. I have the x299 ftw board wth 2 gtx770 video cards, my system will only see the both cards when there in slots 1&2 if I go with 1& any other slot it does not see the second card I would like to space the cards further apart for cooling. Any ideas or mabey settings I’m overlooking help or input would be appreciated.
Thank in advance

Your board will see both cards spaced out. Using slot 1 and slot 3 will typically give you the most pci lanes, but you can go further apart if need be.

I just tried to move the second card into the 3rd slot and again will not see it. I have the intel I7 7820x
so 1 & 2 work fine 1&3 only see 1 card and 1& 4 only see 1 card. Is it a setting in the cmos?
Thanks

X299 FTW-K manual

Page 24 & 25

CPU PCie lanes and other hardware M.2 can make a difference

I7 7820x is 28 lane PCIe

PE2 & PE5 will give the Best spacing
