Hello and welcome to the forums,

The shipment is marked as a warranty replacement, the value of the item is required for insurance and to prevent delays in inspection. I can't comment on your specific case but in general if your government is imposing a fee for you to pickup the item then you will need to pay this fee, we are unable to do anything about that.

I can confirm that your email was received and that your local support team will respond to you with more information when they are able to review your case, sending multiple emails may cause a delay in response time so I implore patience while your request is being reviewed.

    Hi,

please note the following: All RMA replacements will state “Warranty Replacement” on the package to assist in avoiding any taxes, duties and/or brokerage fees through customs or otherwise. EVGA is not responsible for any fees charged by the destination country’s government body, brokers or other third party. Not UPS wants to have any additional fee, more the import duty to your country, which comes from your government,

i contact the customs ,, they tell me , no TAX in my shipment
    but UPS add VAT !!
i contact UPS and they tell me  EVGA need to contact them about this shipment
EVGA need to tell them this is cost 0 !! this is RMA replacement
why EVGA does not want cooperation with the customer
UPS want me to pay $100 VAT Thanks to invoice which contains shipment cost $450 !

As I said I can't speak to specifics for your case, as you have emails pending with our EU team they will be able to assist you far better than anyone on the forums here.

This is my current problem as well been going on for about 6 months now the interests are insane making it cheaper to buy many top end cards for the same price than this madness am starting to feel like a ping pong ball neither ups or EVGA will take responsibility. am starting to think maybe this is beyond me and should involve a lawyer how did your case work out @maecal and what did you do to fix it?

You didn't say what country you are from but if the form on the box from EVGA says it is a replacement item and UPS attempts to charge you then you can dispute this by providing UPS with a copy of the original sales receipt showing the VAT payment.

Ask the store to print you a sales receipt with VAT included.
