980 TI Support without invoice (receipt)

Hello,
 
Recently my 980 ti failed, luckily i my warranty is still valid, so i initiated the RMA process with EVGA (already had registered my card). Sadly, EVGA told me that without an invoice i would be unable to apply for the warranty process. Thing is, i´m from Colombia and bought my videocard in the capital´s techcenter so i never had any invoice directly from the wholestore in the U.S where the card originally came from, furthermore i lost the invoice from the techcenter, though i doubt that it would have been accepted by EVGA. So i want to ask if there is anything i can do to use the warranty from my videocard.

    I have read several threats on this subforum which state that EVGA can still offer support without the invoice by looking the serial card number and then calculating the warranty time accordingly, i want to know if this is true as i no longer have any other option avaliable to redeem my warranty, if so how should i proceeed?

    You need to contact evga. Certain region, like LATAM, have completely different warranty regulations. I suggest contacting evga directly.
