... and there isn't a US adapter for the plug. Anyone run into this, and what's the best EU-US adapter?

    Best thing would be to just buy a new AC power cable and forget about the adapter..They're cheap enough and you can find them just about anywhere PC parts are sold (Walmart, Best Buy, Newegg, etc.)..The end that goes into the PSU is standard C13 or C19 for high-powered PSUs.
     
    Look on the cable you have now and see what the AWG number is..That's the wire gauge in the cable..The lower the AWG number, the thicker the wires in the cable..Don't get one that has a higher number (smaller wires), get one with the same or a lower AWG number.
