3D mark score Firestrike. Is it any good?

Hi,

I got this result on Firestrike : https://www.3dmark.com/fs/14578794

I was wondering if it's good, i saw a lot higher score with rigs close to mine. Is it because of some OC? I havent OC my GPU and my CPU is running at 4,4Ghz

    Your GPU score is just fine for a 1080 Ti.

    Oh ok thanks, saw some 23k scoring with same proc and gpu so i was wondering, guess those people did mass oc?

    Yeah, 2253MHz on that 1080 Ti means he was using LN2 to super cool it. Don't use those as a comparison as it's an unrealistic measure for normal use cases.

    Oh ok so i'm fine then :)

    i guess i could improve it by OC a bit the card and the processor for better physics score?

    My physics score is not very low?

    I don't know for sure, as I've never had a 4790K. But the physics performance is only a little lower than my laptop's 7820HK at 4.2GHz. Accounting for IPC increases I'd say you are just about where one would expect a 4.4GHz 4790K to be, but someone with experience with that processor can chime in.
     
    Overclocking the CPU and GPU further will certainly increase the score - just stress test your overclocks for stability.
