Battlefield: Bad Company 3 is reportedly released in 2018. The scenery would be set in a ‘mid and post’ Vietnam war. It’s mentioned that the game isn’t trying to be ‘historically accurate’ though.
YouTuber user AlmightyDaq is reporting that DICE’s 2018 Battlefield installment is actually Bad Company 3. The long-awaited sequel is rumored to be set in mid-to-post-Vietnam War, with some Cold War settings as well, though those connections may not be historically accurate. Conquest, Rush, Operations, Domination, and Team Deathmatch all will return for Bad Company 3.A 5v5-centric mode similar to Squad Obliteration will also be present in the game. The game modes confirmed so far are said to be Operations, Conquest, Rush, Domination, and Team Deathmatch. There will also be a mode similar to Squad Obliteration, pitting two teams of five against each other.
While this leak seems credible, nothing official has been announced just yet, ergo a grain of salt should be issued for now. A new Battlefield title is planned for 2018, but whether or not it will be Bad Company 3 remains to be seen.

I never played bad company 2, but I really hope thy don’t make a loot box mistake on bad company 3.

A game set in the Vietnam era? Considering how pc everything has been getting lately I wouldn't be so surprised if such a game in this day and age would get hammered by so much controversial crap.

Bad Company 2 was so good! The single player campaign and single player dialog was great! The multiplayer was great! Man, I hope they don't mess it up in Bad Company 3. I am not going to hold my breath, though.

Bad Company was the beginning of the downfall of the Battlefield franchise. I don't know why PC gamers would be excited for the return of it which is centered around army of one gameplay, irrelevant vehicles, and some of the worst tiny maps ever made in a Battlefield game.
Those rose colored nostalgia goggles are amazing.

BC3 sounds appealing, but I no longer have faith in DICE.
Arguably, BF4 was their last decent game.
Unless DICE goes back to their old ways, BC3 will be nothing but a re-skin of EA's recent failures.

Even though it’s been seven years since the last one, the sub-series is still one of the most popular with fans. A new sequel would presumably involve a return to the modern era, and a refocus on the sort of destruction effects the franchise used to be famous for.
Bad Company 3 won’t actually be modern day though, but set between the Vietnam War and the end of the Cold War.

That is kind of my feelings. EA has kind of ran it into the ground with the pay to win model and I don't think they would want to lose the cash flow to go back to play to win.

Bad Company 2 made more than enough money to justify a sequel. When a game makes megabucks rest assured a sequel will follow. You're talking 12 million sold copies to date.

Quite frankly, I feel underwhelmed.
I could see them working on two BF titles at the same time but it would be odd to have them come out in the same year. I guess it's possible though since it doesn't seem like DLC is being money draw for them since it fractures the player base and having two releases could help cover having shorter after release support.

It seems that DICE Sweden is working on the 2018 release (or whenever) Battlefield game based on WWII and that DICE LA is working on a Battlefield game scheduled for later release which is much less finished and may or may not turn out to be Bad Company 3. It is very unlikely that they would be released during the same year.

bad company 2 is all i play, so im keeping high hopes.

I loved Bad Company 2. Hope that if it is BC3, they keep it simple.
Dont add anything that was added into Battlefront 1 or 2. Dont go to loot boxes. Dont make a weird hub world for no reason.
