You didn't say which country you're from, but if you are in the USA that fastest way to find out is to call EVGA tech support. If you're outside the USA such as in Europe then you can also email or call.

Inferior card i wouldn't say that yes TI is a bit better but if your are running at 1440p monitor it wont matter that much Ftw and FE have one main difference that is cooling And fe is good if i had water cooling kit because otherwise i have to get hybrid kit which is 150 £ + or to get water cooling kit which is not cheap As FE normally run 80+ c without oc and ftw runs at 70 c and with oc As EVGAs reponse i m happy there are replacing my card but personally i never go with blower type coolers

The blower type cards are good for those with smaller cases or less that adequate airflow and prefer not to use liquid. Or it's simply your preference...

No kidding! FE cards are usually higher quality than other cards. And 1080 Ti cards are faster than 1080 cards. Throw a better air cooler on it, and Win, Win, Win. I would be very happy with such an upgrade.

1440p, a Ti won’t make that much of a difference? What world do you live on that would make that true? 1440p, the Ti definitely performs much better. Especially if you have a 120 or 144hz monitor, since the Ti can keep more games at max refresh rates.

If it was me, I'd run it (game, bench) for a bit to see how the temps look. If all seems normal, then you're good. If not, then replace the TIM. My 2 cents...

I always replace the TIM out of habit. I find the automated application often has pretty substantial air bubbles. A quick TIM refresh and you get great coverage and less worry about if the TIM will last as long.

Record that unboxing and document it for safety and security. You don't wanna deal with the troubles I am currently dealing with for my RMA.
