Microsoft is having a difficult time selling it's gaming consoles (XBox) in Japan but the problem is simply that Microsoft is not adapting games that Japanese like and want to buy.

Pfft watch as Sony announces a updated version of the PS4 Pro which will in turn further screw over Microsoft in Japan. Knowing Sony they definitely aren't sitting around doing nothing. Either next month or start of the next year they'll announce a upgraded PS4 Pro in order to compete with the XB1X.

im now using a mouse with my xbox 1 s system using the xim4 .. what a difference it makes!.with the xbox x , I don't really see a need to upgrade anymore the PC..where as the mouse and console really takes it to a new level with the x...u can either use a keyboard with your mouse or..like I do,the left hand side of the controller..and the xim4 does not get u kicked from MP because its an emulator.same as the pro's use..FYI..not rying to highjack this thread but...lol.

I agree. Simply browsing the PSN and Xbox Live storefronts are evidence of this. It's not that the Xbox One doesn't have any games that would appeal more to a Japanese audience, though. I mean there are a number of Naruto, DBZ and One Piece games, FFXV, FF Type-0 and Valkyria Revolution, to name a few off the top of my head. But yea, the PS4 has tons more games with that "Japanese Touch" to them. It seems to me MS made more of an effort to sell more units last generation what with all the JRPGs that were available for the 360.

Japan has never been important to Microsoft and is always a market that they do poor in. Japan loves the Sony brand and Microsoft for the most part has allowed Sony to have Japan. The other reason is it used to be Final Fantasy was the game everyone couldn't wait to play in America but since Final Fantasy 7 the series has been losing fans as have other JRPG games. I am not saying that they are bad games or anything just that people in America are more interested RPG games like Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 then they are interested in Final Fantasy 15. Probably Red Dead 2 will outsell all JRPG games combined next year. Microsoft has just gone for what gamers in America want and that is more Halo and Call of Duty which are not as popular in Japan.
