Can't wait! I hope the Volta or whatever it will be called doesn't come out in 4 to 5 months or less. If it does oh well. This is my first video card I ever bought that is the fastest one! I know it won't be for that much longer but at least I will have 2 months of that title! lol

Congrats! If it does it give you plenty of time to wait for the better custom cooled card to come into stock and you can choose the one you want.. or just wait for the Ti version ;) lol.

Congrats and even when you see the next generation of fastest card you will still have a card that is running games at Ultra High settings for a while to come and that is really what matters.

Will till it gets to 60c I believe. You need evga's precision x oc to control the fans. If not the cards bios is running defaults

That's how they designed the card so sure.. it will limit the max boost that way and the card would run hotter then it would if you ran pxoc and used custom fan curves for all 3 fans. Not on windows??

Yes by all means.. thst way you can use the on screen display (osd) to watch the clocks, temps, fan speeds and frame rate. Important with a new card to make sure everything is running good as it should.
Benchmark the card as well in 3d apps (3dmark firestrike, timespy) and games you play.

Good choice, enjoy! 1080 Ti is worth it over 1080 as the card is like 30% faster.
