Use DDU in safe mode to remove the old drivers before installing them again.

Are you powering the card with two individual pci-e cables? What is the make/model/age of your power supply? Does underclocking the card help lessen the issue?

He's trying to ask are you using a daisy chain power connector with two 8 pins on one cable ? Or separate cables for each 8 pin.

Are you monitoring the gpu and memo clocks, voltages, power limits, utilizations in real time? Try underclocking the memo and gpu separately from each other.... Also EVGA guarantees at least 2025 on the gpu so look for that... if it is not getting there you should contact support and maybe RMA it. If you have another PSU to test with would be good... and try using another pcie slot also.

I just had the same problem with my kingpin, except it was also crashing. I reinstalled the drivers, then reinstalled win 10, then reinstalled win 7, then put the card in a different system. Same thing each time. Here is what i did find out. In heaven 4.0 on win 10 it would crash to desktop after a few seconds. On win 7 it would blackscreen then recover then blackscreen then recover and so on occassionally crashing to desktop. This was with all stock clocking. If i lowered it to 82% in POCX it would run no problem at 1924 mghz max (games and all). At 90-92% it would run at 1949 mghz and have the pink stuff flickering all over the screen. At 100% it would run 1974 mghz and crash after 8 or 9 seconds. This was all at no more than 65c max and 60-62c average. Same with super position and all of my games. Which is too bad because the card worked flawless since i got it a week after release. This just started out of nowhere alittle over a week ago. Evga is awesome. Submitted an rma request saturday, yes there was a tech guy there on saturday (and he was excellent btw) just shipped it back this morning, and will be waiting on the new one. So maybe this will help you figure yours out. Good luck.
