Hi all, I just purchased a 1080ti FTW3 and installed it earlier. With everything stock I'm seeing GPU core boosts to 1974 and memory running at 1377. While playing PUBG earlier I noticed that GPUZ was reporting that my GPU Core had dropped to 1961 and under PerfCap Reason it stated VRel and I could see the value maxing out at 1.0620V. The card is staying below 60c with a custom fan curve, with Power Consumption at 105%. I was wondering if this was normal? Is this just how high my card can keep the boost while staying within the VRel limit of 1.0620V? Am I a little "unlucky" that my card needs this much voltage to reach 1961 on the GPU core? To power the card I used a single PCIE power lead which had two eight pin connectors on it. Would connecting the second eight pin power connector to a separate PCIE power socket on my Corsair HX850i power supply help at all? I ran a the default 3DMark FireStrike test earlier and attained a GPU score of 30 300 which seems about normal from what I can see, is that correct? Appreciate any help or advice. Thanks, WM

Gpu 3.0 will allways have a limit to why it doesn't keep boosting up does sound like one of the less lucky cards if thats your max oc. If you haven't added any offset you may still have room to boost. Doing two power cables vs one dasiy chain one can improve performance but how much it will is up to debate. Quick question of my own how are your temps during gaming ?

Vrel by itself isn't a problem. Connecting two pci-e cables won't help get rid of the vrel perfcap. 30,300 is a normal gpu score for a 1080 ti.

The GPU temp has not exceeded 58c while either 3DMark testing or playing PUBG for several hours.

The GPU won't stay at 1974Mhz close to 60°C temps, I don't know the exact drop-off temps from 1974Mhz but it's impossible to maintain with out-of-the-box settings and raised powertarget for me. The GPU will stay at 1961Mhz at best with 117% powertarget below 60°C and max fan speed, going beyond 60°C~ makes it drop to a steady 1949Mhz, still a pretty good result though.

Boost 3.0 constantly adjusts clocks and voltages, all along the temp spectrum, no matter how cool / hot it's running. I've seen boost 3.0 make clock adjustments with core temps as low as 10c under load.
Welcome to pascal.

o.o your temps for fan speed sound a lot better then critical hit who at 100% fan speed was having it go above 60

Try a custom curve, i did the same and was stuck on 1062mV as well. After the curve i managed to get 1093mV (weird but true). Should look something like that.
