CPU Light on EZ Bios turns on. I don't have CPU Power cable to PSU attached

Do I need to have the CPU Power cable attached?  I get the CPU LED light turned on and I'm wondering if it's because I need this cable attached.

    Yes You Must Have at Least ONE Connected.

    yes all MB need the 12v cpu power cable connected, you only need one connected, the second if you plan on doing heavy overclocking.
