Anybody know whether an aftermarket air cooler like the Prolimatech MK26 or Raijintek Morpheus II would be compatible with the Kingpin? I'm a little weary of getting into water cooling due to the risk of downtime for leaks and maintenance, but want to increase the cooling capacity. Thanks!

I tried a Raijintek Morpheus II Core on a Titan Xp but it didn't make sufficient contact to cool it. If the Prolimatech MK26 will work I'll try it so keep us posted.

15 minutes of heaven 4.0 at 1440p with max settings...

I'd say the stock cooler is more than sufficient.

But is it so silent that you can barely tell it's running? ;D Your max fan speed suggests otherwise.

I'm sure EVGA fans are perfectly acceptable. But two of the upcoming Noctua A15 fans on a massive heatsink...bliss.

Nope, but the fans at 100% fan speed are much more quieter than a reference 2016 titan x blower cooler at 100%.

True, but so is a jet engine :D

I've been researching it a bit today and can't see any reason why it wouldn't fit, so I'm definitely going to try it when I get a larger chassis. I think that would be awesome.

If you're going to go through the process of putting a 3rd party cooler on then why not put an AIO on anyway. They have little-to-no maintenance.

Mainly pump noise, pump vibration of tubing in many instances, and more points of failure. If space permits, a huge heat sink and large fans will frequently be just as effective as an AIO, is much quieter during idle, and no actual points of failure aside from fans (something that all cooling systems have to deal with).
