Hello, for some reason my control panel takes fits and have to re do it and the fan speed and tach doesn't show. I shouldn't have to go and recheck everything before each game a I play. Anybody know the problem for both issues?

Yes precision XOC, I installed the one before the newest version and it seems to be working. Although it's not working in Gears of war 4, but so far is in Fallout 4. However, the fan speed, tach, and cpu temp are not displaying.

Is that the tach and fan speed for the CPU or GPU?

It's the tach and fan speed for the gpu. For some reason it won't work at all in Gear of war 4.

Did you delete the evga folder inside c:\program files (x86) before installing the older version of precision xoc?

I went under uninstall and removed it and then downloaded the previous.

Try this... #1 Uninstall xoc. #2 Delete evga folder inside c:\program files (x86) #3 Reboot pc. #4 Install older version of xoc.

You think that will work for the missing fan speed and Gears of war 4 ?

Well, it seems ok other than still no fan speed or rpm% and not sure if it will work in Gears of war 4, will have to post back on that. Also noticed it won't show CPU temp either.

What is your operating system, graphics card, CPU, and which version of Precision XOC are you on right now? Does the fan speed, fan tach, CPU temp and other OSD items show okay in other games besides Gears of War 4? Do you have the fan speed, fan tach, and CPU temps set in the OSD Settings to show on GPU1?

I believe he said it works fine in fallout 4 in post #4. The OP will most likely need to use msi afterburner as it has better OSD support.

My operating system is Window's 10, the graphics card is the Evga 1070 sc and did version 6.1.14 after removing the newest. The problem with Msi afterburner was it was saying the secondary program, which I just forget the name at the moment wasn't compitable with Window's 10. Apparently the other program is used for frame rate and such, but I'm sure there has to be a version to work with Window's 10.

If I understand correctly, the GPU fans %, GPU fans rpm, and CPU temps don't show on-screen in GoW4 but other on-screen display items do, and the GPU fans %, GPU fans rpm, and CPU temps do show up on-screen in other games?

Then PrecisionX Server which provides On-screen Display isn't compatible with the game, as it's not compatible with some other games..Sometimes in some game's settings there's an option to use a different version of DirectX and switching to an older version such as DX9 has been known to fix OSD issues..Don't know if Gears of War 4 has the option or not. In the Precision XOC General Settings (little gear symbol, right of Profiles), set to Start With OS and click OK..Then restart your PC and wait for Precision to load..Then see if the CPU and CPU-1 temperatures and the Fan speed and tach are shown in the OSD Settings screen in the Select GPU Statistic dropdown box..If they are, click GPU1 under Show in On-screen Display for each of those (or any other items) which should put them on-screen. You didn't say what CPU you're using. MSI Afterburner uses RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS, the secondary program as you called it) for OSD..You will need to get the latest package of RTSS 7.0.0 Beta 26 and MSI Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 12 here if you want to use it..It is updated and optimized for Windows 10 and should install no problemo.

I'm running the I7-5820k, I'll try what you suggested and post back. I was thinking that maybe Gears of war 4 was maybe not compatible or something, which the game does have it's own built in fps just wish it had the rest.
