I did fix my problem by simply downloading 6.1.11 (6.1.12 had mixed feedback for FTW3) Just a heads up if any developers are curious. I was using 6.1.13 for a week with no problem. I just used it for custom fan curves. It sat at 1980Mhz at 65-70 degrees across the board under load. About 60% fan speed when gaming. I don't like how it needs to be loaded and hotkey'd every time you boot up to apply settings; so I put my PC in sleep mode every night. After 4 days of casual gaming I put my PC in sleep, booted it up, and the screen went blank. PC works, audio etc, but display is bricked. I restart, and it bricks again the second XOC is about to load into the sys tray. I uninstall in safe mode. PC works. I wipe the drivers and reinstall everything. Still bricks when I load XOC. Just downloaded 6.1.11 instead and it works... for now. I could wipe my system as it's only 1 week old but I really don't feel like it. I'll write down some stuff below but I don't want to debug anything. This is more of a heads up post. Also when I say "bricks my display" It would set each one of my monitors a solid color. It would sample a color that was already on that particular monitor. Windows 10 Pro 2 1080p 60Hz Monitors (display port/hdmi) 1 1440p 144Hz Monitor (display port) 1 1080p 60Hz Tv (through the board's interface, it's for monitor switching. TV OR 3 Monitor) EVGA 1080ti FTW3 (Slave BIOS) ROG STRIX B250F board 750W PSU (plenty) i7-7700K

This same behavior is happening on my 1080 ti SC black on 6.1.14. Around when I installed 6.1.14 my card has been defective since and whenever precision tries to load my desktop ends up looking like this immediately https://www.dropbox.com/s...20%2021.43.07.jpg?dl=0 I am just worried precision is doing some permanent damage to our cards by altering some microcode.

Sorry about that here is the link (hopefully) https://www.dropbox.com/s/4lo10lvai0s243q/2017-08-20%2021.43.07.jpg?dl=0 I am glad your cards are working great wish I could say the same. I am wondering if precision is able to update or overwrite the bios/microcode on the cards and destroy them. I am hoping it did not do that to my card because when I first got my card it was working fine at 120% power target. Now I have to run it with a severe underclock for any hope of stability and I want to be sure precision did not ruin the card before I get another one.

Remove Precision OCX Reboot Manually clear any OCX folders left in Windows Reboot Offline, All back ground software = OFF (including security/ that's why offline) Reload Precision As ADMIN (right click file) After Precision OCX has loaded --> shut down Remove ALL power from your PC (unplug PSU, monitor, USB hubs, printer .......) Hold Power button 20-30 sec to discharge capacitors in PSU Plug everything back in and restart

I simply reformated, but did not fix my card. Do you think precision is able to do permanent damage to the card just from the fact that it can cause that artifacting at 2d clocks (windows desktop) for me and other users.

Firmware microcode Not a BIOS change -- no reason it cannot be overwritten again Was only supposed to alter fans, to my understanding ... make sure they were not too slow I'd contact EVGA directly with your concerns
