I purchased the EVGA 16GB 3000 C15 DDR4 Sku: 958785 PN: 8GX-D4-3000-MR for my Ryzen system.
I own the Asrock B350 AM4 Pro motherboard and I have been unable to get the system to boot when setting the memory speeds to 2933 (no option for 3000). The best I can do is 2667.
I was wondering if there are other settings I may need to change to get the system to run at 2933?

Anything above 2400-2667MHz is considered overclocking on ryzen. You'll most likely need to tweak some voltages inside the bios to go higher than 2400-2667MHz.

Anything above 2400-2667MHz is considered overclocking on ryzen. You'll most likely need to tweak some voltages inside the bios to go higher than 2400-2667MHz.
Thanks for the response. To around what level should I tweak them? What about adjusting the timings and such?

Best of luck. The best I can do is 2133MHz on my MSI X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM Ryzen Motherboard with the AMD RYZEN 7 1800X CPU Running @ 4025MHz. And can only run 16GB 2 8GB Sticks NOT 4 for 32 GB

First question: Not sure as I don't own a ryzen system. Second question: Adjusting timings may/may not help you run a higher speed. Having a cpu with a strong imc will give you the best results.

AMD continues to introduce motherboard updates to help improve motherboard memory compatible. However, AMD certified memory sticks should be able to achieve their rated memory speeds.

Are there potential plans for EVGA to add certified support to existing RAM or is that something that must be designed into the hardware at release?
I am debating between x2 8gb 3000 and 3200 EVGA ram, but I'm only interested in the 3200 if certified support could be added down the road. Most clocking videos I have seen without certified ram show people only able to clock stable ryzen builds up to 2667mhz. If this is not likely to change I may stay with the 3000 clocked to 2667mhz.
Any information to shed light on what is possible/likely/planned to happen would be greatly appreciated :)

Make sure that the timings that you see in your motherboard's BIOS match the timings that you will find printed on the packaging of the memory sticks that you purchased. If that does not help resolve your issue, definitely look into updating your motherboard's BIOS. There has been lots of BIOS updates rolling out to improve Ryzen and memory compatibilty.

The new BIOS update actually enables me to get it to 2800.
