EVGA GTX 1070 ACX no display

Bought used, the person stated that it failed a stress test so that means it displayed. Installed and no display, Should I get an HDMI 2.0 cable? Should I reset the Bios on the motherboard because of the previous AMD card?

    Stick it in another system is the easiest if you have that option. Second, if you're going to ask for help, at least provide the basics on your hardware, otherwise we are just guessing and have to waste time figuring out what you have. The BIOS should not prevent the GPU from displaying a boot screen. You of course connected display to the GPU, right?

    Yes I connected the GPU to the display, hence the question of the HDMI cable. I don`t have another system to work with so here is what i`m running.       MSI Raider X299, Intel 7820X, G-Skill 24GB`s ram, RX 560 Graphics, Silicon Power 256GB SSD and 750W power supply.

    I’d test all the outputs on the gpu. Not just hdmi.

    After cleaning the board, checking and cleaning the ground, buying a display to HDMI the unit works. Haaa, I appreciate everyone`s input problem solved!
