it would be nice if they did and had better software suite. i think they focus more on the overclocker with their boards, i mean they have generally three of each series only were as asus will do 20 different models to cover everything from basic budget builder (not even counting their OEM boards ) to the super high end.

One reason I like EVGA is that engineering and performance comes before looks. Between my case, graphics card, and fans, I have more than enough lighting in my system. +1 for software suite. I really would like to see something like ASUS AI Suite where you essentially have full BIOS control from within Windows. E-LEET is OK but lacks polish and features. For some reason E-LEET reports my multiplier settings different than my BIOS.

provided you can even get eleet it to work. while i'm not huge fan of the RGB craze i would like to see things such as dedicated headers for AIO and water pumps like Asus does, even some of their lower end z270 boards have those, which is a great ideal really.

+1 on both. I would love to see true PWM on all fan headers also.

We could see evga mobo with RGB lights in the future. They just need to secure the rights to use the technology and source the tech to add it to evga motherboards.. We seen same thing happen with single latching RAM slots. The top 4 mfg came out with it, while evga had to wait before they could secure enough stock of them, before they could offer the feature. icylogik One reason I like EVGA is that engineering and performance comes before looks. I would say engineering and performance title should go to ASUS, GIGABYTE and MSI. All three of them have at least 10 Intel 270 motherboards on the market.

I think because those three are huge in the oem world for quite some time lets them easily design lower end boards with lower end chipsets, then its pretty easy to add new tech and bling to them, were as evga is tiny compared to them, hench they only put out 3 or so board per top end chipset, i would like to see different features though. Example why is there a u.2 port or sata express ports? Does anyone use them? The creative audio is another, realtek would do just fine for 95% of users and the audiophile types are probably going to buy a standalone card. The killer nic is a waste also, i tried it and it was buggy at best and just would drop connection. Dont get me wrong my z270 is rock solid stable but in the price relm were they fall there are more optioned boards out there.

It would be ok but I am not sure I really care enough to put out more money to be able to control the lighting. It also would be making the RGB lighting the star of my case and trying to avoid all other lighting. Guess it's simply put it's cool but not sure if it would really be something I would really use much.

Good news! Really I can see why someone would want one if they are going to a LAN but for me my computer isn't moved that much and is down where I don't really notice it much so it's something I wouldn't benefit from as much as others. Then again if I did have a motherboard with one installed I might find room on my desk for the case.

im looking at as they might actually come up with a good software control suite finally, if they will have rgb then the software control has to be there also.

Dark is meant for extreme overclocking, designed with overclocking in mind, and has dropped many of the "fancy" things off the list to focus on overclocking. I think it was a smart move. If people want RGB, get the FTW K, because it looks amazing as well.
