I need one more pcie 6+ 2 or 8 pinn for a total of 7. Am I able to use the CPU 2 slot on the back of the PSU for an additional one? If not how could I get an additional 6+2 or 8 pin pcie connector?

No. Buy a psu which has all the cables you need.

Sounds like you need a 1600w unit.

There's things like an 8-pin EPS to 6+2-Pin PCI-Express Adapter Cable that allows use of a power supply's 8 pin (or 4+4 pin) EPS (CPU) Connector with either 6 pin or 8 pin PCIe power ports.

And things like SATA to PCIe and Periperal/Molex to PCIe adapters you can use if you have the extra connectors that are not being used.

An adapter is a good suggestion, but the real question is what is the OP attempting to power. A 1200w may not be able to handle what he is trying to power.

Would you suggest using a molex peripheral to pcie 8 pin or 6+2 and connect to the back of PSU that says peripheral? Wouls that effect the power going to gpus?

Any adapter should get the job done. What all are you trying to power?

Yes, listing your system hardware would help.
