Hi i am planning to upgrade my old rig which houses EVGA 460SE with the newer model gpu 1050 TI, but the thing is that the motherboard is quite old.
The motherboard model is MSI H55M-E21. Will the newer gpus work on my old motherboard?

I don't see why not.  Just make sure all the drivers and BIOS is up to date.

Oh okay, i read some would not work on a legacy BIOS mobo and having some problems running it whereas some would work. Kinda hit or miss which doesn't give much info about my mobo. Thanks anyways.

In all honestly, it probably is a hit or miss but that is the chance of trying to get a new GPU work with old hardware.

The 1050 ti will work fine in your rig as people were able to get a gtx 970 & gtx 1060 to work with that board.

There should not be any problems with any mainboard from the last years. When your motherboard features PCIe x16, the you will be fine.
