Remove ACX 2.0 Fans

Is there anyway to remove the shroud and fans from a 980 Ti FTW with out taking the rest of the cooling device off the card? it is very dirty and i want to clean it without taking it all apart and not needing to redo thermal paste and pads.

    TBH, I've always just used a can of compressed air and held the fans stationary with my fingers and blasted it right out. 
     
    Compressed air should be sufficient to get 99% of the dust bunnies out.
