Thanks!,
i have already contacted support and received the latest bios. I have a few additional general questions tho....
I am concerned about the card sometimes running a bit warm, usually at exactly 82c. The highest peaks recorded have been 87c, that's happened twice in 6 months or so. It was my understanding that a bios was released with higher fan speeds as discussed here: ttps://forums.evga.com/Update-11916-with-NEW-BIOS-EVGA-GeForce-GTX-108010701060-PWM-Temperature-Update-m2573491.aspx
However, my card was not included although it suffers from the same problem as cards on the list. In another thread there is a long discussion about the 0db fan update and an original bios that had the fan always on. When i received my card it already had 0db bios, but without the amd fix. I was wondering if the original bios had a more aggressive fan curve? i'm not concerned about noise so 0db is not important, and although it would be nice if the mainboard recognized the vender, ultimately i just want to get temperatures down a little. Also any info about max operating temps and what the card will do when it overheats would be great.
Thanks!
