I am running 7.4.15 64bit version. I see there is a 7.4.16 but it say x86 so I think it is just a 32bit version. Anyone know?

They also said that the 64 bit client is discontinued as it doesn't offer any advantage over the 32 bit client. Even when using the 32 bit client on a 64 bit system, the client will still download and use the 64 bit cores for folding.

You need an account to access the folding forums: https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=29541&sid=c84409467c369ae0bbe13714083a3a56 "Windows 32/64bitWe decided not to continue with the 64-bit Windows release. We still have to support 32-bit Windows and it doesn't make sense to have two different packages when one will suffice. More importantly, the 64-bit version does not provide any significant performance advantages. The cores which do all the heavy lifting, already exist in both 64 and 32-bit versions. For those of you who previously installed the 64-bit 7.4.15 Windows client, it is recommended that you first uninstall it before installing this new version."

"doesn't make sense" this is why they have so many problems. That is almost like saying it doesn't make sense to have 64Bit OS.

I had all sorts of issues with the 7.4.15 & 7.4.16 beta clients. I did try it then out.. .15 would not perform a clean uninstall among other issues. both of my primary folders are multi gpu with the slot issue and I was able to post logs hopefully that helps. moved everything back to 7.4.4

I've been on 7.4.16 beta for a month now and it has been stable for me once I got my isp issues ironed out. (F@H did not play nicely with spotty internet, if connection was down while the program tried to download a new wu, it would hang and go into idle mode until I got home and could restart it.) I only have 1 gpu per machine so don't encounter the slot error.
