Rather than end support for Windows 10 v. 1507 -- Microsoft labels the OS by year and month - in March, as announced last year, the company will issue the version's final security updates in May, probably May 9, that month's Patch Tuesday.    Link

    Strange, the need Not to offer security patches for 1507 past a certain date as it is still Windows 10. 
     
    Guess MS wants to push everyone on to 1607; so some of the registry hacks to gain control of how and when your PC updates and what MS can do, will no longer work
