Hey.
I've just assempled a new system, using entirely new components. Our subject of interest in this case is the EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 power supply.
The first thing we all probably do is run a benchmark, just to see our baby do its thing. So I run Unigine Heaven and suddenly, I hear rather strange ticking noises coming from the power supply.

After a longer while of troubleshooting here are my conclusions:
They only occur when the graphics card is under moderate to high load. Tried Furmark (to max out the card) and there were no ticking noises.
Usually there are two or three ticks every 30 seconds or so when playing new AAA titles.
Also, no noises during CPU stress testing.
From the power-hungry parts of my PC I have a Core i7 7700K (no O/C) and a Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! (Has two 8-pin power inputs).
Any ideas what could this be?
Thank you.
Meanwhile, I've been trying to file a support request, but I haven't been able to do so, the website just keeps giving me error 159 when trying to post it. What's up with that?
