hello all, im a bit confused right now and could use some insight.

i have a 1070 ftw hybrid. i had been running it on its secondary bios. with precisionx oc im 99% sure my poweer target slider would allow me to go 122%. i recently switched to the primary bios and ran heaven benchmark a few times just to see what id get. to my surprise i am getting higher scores on the primary bios even though its limit is 112% on the target power slider.

my issue is i switched it back to the secondary bios and now precisionx oc only lets me do 112% on the slider?

i tried switching back to the primary and then back to the secondary and its still not allowing me to go 122% like it did before. im not sure whats up. im currently dl the precisionx oc software again to try n uninstall/reinstall but i dont have much hope that will fix it. where are the latest bios files kept so i can try reflashing the seconday bios? its not under the support downloads section of evga's site.

as always i appreciate your help and you taking the time to read my posts!! any suggestions are welcome!!!

psa: unistalling precisionx oc and then reinstalling it fixed the slider issue. its now going up to 122% power target on the secondary bios.

    something still bothers me tho...

why would i be getting higher heaven scores using the primary bios with the power target limited to 112% when the secondary allows up to 122%??

my best score on heaven maxed out on secondary has been shy of 2500 but my best score on the primary bios is 2583?  shouldnt i get a better oc with the power limit adjusted up to 122% with the secondary bios vs 112% with the primary???

my micron memory barely allows for +280 and +100 on the core typically starts at 2101 but settles down around 2088 or 2076. am i doing it wrong?? ive sen scores breaking 2700 on maxed out heaven with a 1070...
