turn off motion blur. I think that fixed that issue for me

Easily the worst Resident Evil game I have played. I dont know if it can even count as Resident Evil. 3/10. BTW any info anyone here needs about the game and graphic setting etc, ask me. I have researched and tested quite a bit. The requirements are stupid and bloated for no reason. At higher settings (texture and shadows), all you need is more VRAM, not raw power (well on 4K you do). Doesn't mater as textures are PS 2/2.5 quality. Some are even PS1.

Did we play the same game? This was awesome. Even if its not "Resident Evil" its still a great game. Im glad the old characters like Wesker weren't in it. At some point you need to revamp the franchise.

Did we play the same game? This was awesome. Even if its not "Resident Evil" its still a great game.
Im glad the old characters like Wesker weren't in it. At some point you need to revamp the franchise.
I haven't played the game but I love resident evil so I read up on the game. Apparently one of the last guns you use is the "Albert-01R" referring to Albert Wesker and people think its Chris Redfield that is on the umbrella helicopter at the end pulling you out. Kind of interesting, not sure how much they will try to tie the stories together.

At start (trailers) I believed it was just a game which was given a RE name. After playing I actually BELIEVE that RE name was slapped on it by Capcom. It is that bad.
Albert-01R. That scene made me laugh. Just shoot your own damn self. Why throw the gun to us?. Seriously?. How the hell does that gun destroy everything with the same damn bullet our crap hand gun uses?. The magnum isn't enough?. What the hell?. What is this connection?. Like some bunch of random people being experimented on in some corner of the world and now they are part of RE franchise?. Hope you get what I am saying. Like a family suffering their destruction in Racoon City and a SIDE GAME is made on them.
Chris Redfield. Nope. If it is him, why the hell did they COMPLETELY change his appearance?. Plus, there are things that scream that he isn't Chris.
Last scene was such a joke. The pieces falling off (like a rock fall) were cringe worthy PS 0.5 quality bad.
Reading materiel is literally nothing compared to any old games.
My suspense died after cutting the chain to meet wife. Before that, I was tense 10/10.
Game comes off as extremely supernatural-y.
Ship/Female gameplay part was the worst!. I didn't like it at all. Lucas stage was the best.
Pathetic enemies. I had ZERO fear of them. The Marg Baker was a joke too. I just ran across her all the time spraying her face with flames. lol People were actually scared and sneaking past her. WOW!. Devs these days play on these people's dumb sense of fear.

The Albert probably used bullets either tipped/filled with the vaccine that you used to finally kill Jack earlier in the game as it caused Eveline to have the SAME effect (where she turned into that stone-type material). Also, you're shown what happened to the family when you're wrapped up in the cocoon as Ethan. Unless you didn't pay attention, it's obvious. Eveline was an experiment on the ship and got attached to Mia (that's why she was still alive/spared for the most part). She escaped/was let out and started to grow stronger. At one point, Mia says that she started puking "more than her body mass" which is where the "molded" come from. Eveline grew stronger and consumed people (including Mia's work partner) which eventually led to the crashing of the ship. She expanded further and that's where she found the family that she took over. The cutscene with Ethan shows him talking to Jack in some other reality/dimension about how Jack isn't really a killer but once Eveline takes over, all bets are off. I DO agree that the reading material could've been better and those textures for the last scene when Eveline falls apart were HORRIBLE. Literally decade-old graphics for that part.

Given the sure amount of games that are thrown at us each and every year, I have to say this game captivated me - and it was a pleasure to play.
No game is perfect, but I feel like this game entertained me almost all the way through - The ship part near the end dragged a little bit...
but overall, I had SO much fun playing this title

Just started on my second play through with two unlocks I got. Some cool looking pistol gun and some type of defense thing, after this second play I'll then do the unlocked hard mode or whatever it's called. Then of course the DLC should be out by then and I'll be enjoying that too.

Not interested in possibly, probably, could etc. Pay attention?. That is like an insult to me. BTW people who played, did you inspect the kid in ship mission when she asks you to play the tape?. Damn!, I got creeeeped out when I crouched in front of her. Her eyes followed me and grew slightly bigger (not sure what exact words to use here) and my eyes opened wider too. Very weird. I turned all settings to max and res scaling to 2 to see her in all glory. :D

OK, I'm quite a ways into this and despite it being very creepy, gory game... My question is, " How is this Resident Evil ?? "
None of the usual characters are in it, nothing about Umbrella corp or Tvirus or anything like anything before this.... It is a good, well done horror game but unless things change drastically , it really isn't a 'Resident Evil' game.

Well worth playing for creep ass story, horror ,weirdness factor ...but... not what I was expecting from a title in Resident Evil
