As the title says, my GTX 1070 FTW isnt running at full usage in some games. For example in H1Z1 I get an average of 20 fps and my usage is anywhere from 10-60. My specs are a intel i7-6700k, ASUS Z170-A, and of course my 1070. I would really appreciate if anyone would help me with my problem. Thanks in advance! (Yes, I have already looked through the forums and most of the problems are bottleneck problems, but I wouldn't think that I would have one.)

Wow, I did not expect such a quick reply, but here is the benchmark . The weird thing is, is that in benchmarks like valley, and this one my usage is always very high. But in other games my usage is low and I get terrible fps.

A roughly 18.5K graphics score for a 1070 in Firestrike is right about average. Your CPU also scores right where one would expect it to be.

If you want a higher score, start overclocking your CPU and GPU a bit!
 
 
Edit: As to the H1Z1 FPS problem, it doesn't look like it is hardware related since your Firestrike scores look to be right where they should be. My benchmark scores are fine but the thing is, is when I play games my usage is ~60 when it should be anywhere from 90-99 or something like that.

That will apply to all of your games, especially if you used Geforce Experience to optimize your games (which can cause SERIOUS FPS issues).

So I tried the troubleshooting and none of that worked. I also tried to raise the resolution and I got maybe a 5 fps increase but playing a game at 25 fps to me isn't playable. All games that I try to run still stay at 30-70 gpu usage even The Witcher 3. Anyone got any ideas or am I just screwed?

The only other thing I have running in the background is discord, and precision xoc to see my gpu usage. I will try a new software and see if that helps. Thanks for the response!

I used DDU and did a clean install, but that didn't work I might try to just use an older driver and hope for the best. Also the different software did not help still the same issue with usage. Thanks for the response!
